Introduction

From 17 to 19 October 2025, Scouts and volunteers from around the globe gathered for the world’s largest digital Scouting event, JOTA-JOTI 2025. With the theme “A World Shaped by Youth”, over 650,000 Scout groups and individual participants from 188 countries and territories took part in interactive workshops, online games, live shows, and hands-on activities.

This event, conducted both online and via amateur radio (JOTA), provided young people with the chance to connect globally while engaging with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Scouts measured environmental footprints, solved fast-paced problem-solving challenges, and used social media responsibly to promote fairness, inclusion, and civic participation.

For Scouts in India, JOTA-JOTI represents an incredible platform to explore international collaboration, digital skills, and leadership development, demonstrating how technology can empower youth to make tangible impacts in their communities.
